SVP & Editorial DirectorSusan Duffy has spent 20 years as a corporate communications specialist across life sciences and other industries, and prior worked as a national financial journalist. She oversees account management and is responsible for the creative development and execution of communications programs, taking a fresh approach to engaging audiences with inventive strategies for targeting and influencing them through all forms of media. Susan brings a keen understanding of Wall Street and media, and a passion for communication that builds relationships and produces results.
Account SupervisorAmy Bonanno joined the BMC team in 2011. As Account Supervisor, she helps manage account teams and is instrumental in the development and execution of media relations and campaign strategies. She plays a leading role in the content creation and production of websites, videos, animations, photography and scientific illustration. A broadcast journalist at CBS News prior to coming to BMC, Amy’s fluidity as a writer and skills in production and project management allow her to contribute in myriad ways to the high level of service we provide our clients.
Account ExecutiveLauren Parikhal joined BMC in early 2017, and has quickly become an integral part of our team. A strong communicator, she supports clients by writing press releases and other materials, and conducting research and media outreach. A scientist by training, Lauren assists the team with translating clients’ complex science into accessible, interesting content in written and visual form. She came to BMC with agency experience servicing biotech and healthcare clients, and previously conducted cognitive science research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Account CoordinatorTarneet Madaan works with our media relations team, helping to develop media lists, monitor press coverage, and manage press release distribution and posts on social media for our clients. She also conducts research for presentations, website content, and other client projects, and has responsibility for BMC's account billing and client contracts. Tarneet generally keeps the trains running, and has even found time to recently complete her bachelor's degree in Health Science at Stony Brook University.
Senior Affiliate, Web & Graphics DesignLana Matsuyama is an art director, creative strategist and interactive designer. She has worked closely with BMC over the past several years, designing websites, social media channels, corporate identity programs (logos, color palette), and graphics for PowerPoint presentations for our clients. With a thorough understanding of user experience and interactive technologies, her website design work is not only stunning but also brings energy and excitement to a company’s online presence. She approaches every collaboration with a strategist's eye and a million fresh ideas.
Senior Affiliate, Website DevelopmentJosh Comolli specializes in the latest internet technologies to bring interactive and engaging websites to life. After analyzing client goals, he helps select appropriate platforms and technologies to ensure that each client’s online presence advances their unique business needs. Working with Josh, BMC was one of the first in the biotech industry to build full-screen, responsive scrolling websites, optimized across mobile and other platforms. No matter how complicated the technical challenge, Josh always manages to find an elegant solution.
